Fairport Harbor Lighthouse

It seems like the last year has flown by, but here we are with just a few months left before we bid goodbye to Kirtland, Ohio and our missionary friends and head back to Utah.  We have had a wonderful experience here as senior historic site missionaries, but we are starting to plan our Next Chapter, so to speak. More on that soon, But first, a look back or two.  

Most recently we visited Fairport Harbor lighthouse in Fairport Harbor, Ohio. We explored their very interesting maritime museum and climbed the 69 steps to the top of the 60 foot high lighthouse.  What a view!!

            

The cost to visit the Lighthouse and Museum is only $5 per person or 3 for $10. They welcome groups and other types of tours, so check their website:

You will find tons of interesting things at Fairport Harbor Museum and Lighthouse in Fairport Harbor, Ohio - including (believe it or not) a mummified CAT!! Yup, there's a story there!!  You'll have to go check the museum out to get the whole story. It's a doozy!
